Report: Russia may partake in production of gems in Venezuela

MEXICO CITY, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- Russia may participate in exploration and production of diamonds and gold and other minerals in Venezuela, local news agency AVN reported late on Tuesday quoting Venezuela’s’ Ecological Mining Development Minister Victor Cano.

Russia may also export mining equipment and machines to Venezuela, AVN reported.

Russian specialists will visit mining facilities located in the Orinoco region of Venezuela in the next few weeks to assess their potential.
